Founded by (engineer) Barry Spiers, Designer Deck was originally formed in 1983 as a Ma n’ Pa business manufacturing outdoor decking products. The Modulette deck tile was developed and patented in answer to a frequently asked question, “what can we lay to cover the cold grey concrete on a condo balcony”? Since then, we have developed far and beyond this question, progressing into a well-rounded organisation with important values and a solid vision.
