We are exceptionally pleased with the exposed aggregate concrete patio that was recently installed at our home in Milton by JMC Concrete and Interlocking Ltd. The concrete pad replaced an interlock brick patio that was installed more than 30 years ago. The installation was achieved over a two-day period, with access via a fairly narrow path beside our house. We were pleasantly surprised by the lack of disruption to the mature landscaping abutting the patio area, both during the removal of the existing brick and railway ties, and during the forming and pouring of the cement pad. The design is excellent – all rounded corners. The elevations and drainage are perfect. John Capela and his crew were a pleasure to have around our property for the two days of labour. They were on time and worked steadily despite the blazing July heat and humidity. John was careful to consult us at two critical design stages to make sure that things were taking shape properly. John's estimate was well below other contractors. He also met our pre-arranged start date to the day, even though we had contracted his services some two months ahead.
